On-Going Opportunities

Description: Meet in the Jr/Sr High office to grab flag and vest. You will stand outside of the portable office and help students safely cross the crosswalk.

Once a month the jr/sr high office needs your help donating our lost and found items. Please stop by the portable office between 2:15pm and 3:15pm for pickup.
 
 

Friday Pizza  (2 volunteer hours per job selected- up to four jobs in one day or 8 hours/day): Stay tuned for sign up link!

Help make our Pizza Fridays a fun and yummy experience for our students. Pizza Friday will begin 10/9/26 and will end 5/21/26.

Description: Child must be at least in 6th grade. Aug 21-23. This activity is done with at least the student and their parent (could be a family activity as long as kids are 10 and up). Your time will be spent preparing meals for the campers, serving the food and cleaning up afterwards. There will be times help will be needed chopping wood and clearing trails. This would be communicated beforehand to help ensure you bring appropriate attire. The ranch can be cold at times, please dress accordingly. Biblical Parenting | August 29th 8am-12pm (27 hours- complete all of your volunteer hours) – Biblical Parenting | Training for Adulthood – Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities

Description: Parenting can be one of life’s greatest joys-and one of its greatest challenges. Join us for Biblical Parenting, a half-day conference designed to equip and encourage parents of children and teens of all ages with practical, biblically grounded tools for raising the next generation. 
Our heart is to help parents move beyond simply managing childhood and toward intentionally preparing their children for adulthood through the truth and wisdom of God’s Word. Whether you are parenting you are parenting young children, teenagers, or somewhere in between, you’ll find biblical encouragement, practical guidance, and a supportive community of fellow parents. 
The conference will feature:
-Main sessions focused on Biblical parenting principles
-A live Q&A panel where you can ask real-life parenting questions
-Breakout sessions covering topics such as: blended families, kids and technology, anxiety-anger and depression, and more practical parenting challenges.
Come be refreshed, encouraged, and equipped with solid biblical foundation as we seek to train up our children to know, love, and follow Christ throughout their lives.
Cost: $25/household
Location: Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities.

Fields of Faith is Sunday 10/11 at 3pm at Lampson Stadium! More info here: Tri-Cities WA FCA, I hope you can make it out! Calvary Christian School is hosting a booth, and we need help with treats!

The need: six people to make one 9×13 pan of Rice Krispie treats, cut (12), individually wrapped in saran wrap, and delivered to the portable office by Friday 10/9 at 3:15pm (at the latest).

Put out/Pick up Bazaar Signs (at least 12 hours) – https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C094FAFA82DA3F5CF8-64643400-putout

Description: You will need to decide how many streets you will want to put signs out for (maximum of 3 streets). You will pick up 10 signs per street from the church administrative building (please call if you need help locating it) either Thursday 11/13 or Friday 11/14. Their hours are 9-5 with a lunch break from 12:45-2:00. Signs need to be equally spread on both sides of the road on Sunday 11/16 or Monday 11/17 (link below has streets listed). The signs will then need to be picked up on Sunday 11/23 or Monday 11/24 and returned to the same church administrative office.

1 street = 12 volunteer hours

2 streets = 24 volunteer hours

3 streets (max you can choose) = 27 hours – you have completed all of your hours for the school year!

Description: As parents walk in for Jr/Sr high fall conferences, being welcomed with cookies makes it much better.

1 dozen cookies = 2 volunteer hours

2 dozen cookies (max you can make) = 3 volunteer hours

Description: There are various stations needed to help make this event run efficiently. There are two 2.5-hour time frames to choose from. You can sign up for at most 2 shifts (total of 5 hours). The cyber deal for this opportunity DOUBLES your volunteer hours!! So, if you work one 2.5 hour shift, you receive 5 volunteer hours. If you work a 5 hour shift, you will receive 10 volunteer hours! These spots go quick, so once the spots are full, please email me and I will put you on a wait list
